Traveler’s 2nd Annual 2007 MS Celebrity Challenge

Once again, I’m happy to be part of Traveler’s 2nd Annual Celebrity Challenge to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. (The 1st Annual Event is here). This year, the Challenge raised $83,000.

(Click here) to see all the photos of the event. I want to thank my friend Bob Caesar for coming out and assisting in covering the event.

Since this is my second year photographing the event, I think the players have definitely become less camera shy. Just look at how they’re at ease with the photographers.

Thanksgiving Golf

Apparantly golf is really growing within the family. It’s almost to an addiction. So when someone hears about family reunion, it’s time to plan for a golf match. Of course, it’s also a good time for the boys to come out and drive the golf carts for the men. However, Noah will have nothing about driving a cart, he’s more interested in driving the golf ball 100 yards.

Austin doesn’t really drive a ball that long, but at least he did dual duty and drove one of the carts.

Traveler’s MS 2006 Celebrity Challenge

This is Traveler’s first annual Multiple Sclerosis Celebrity Challenge. The days leading up to this event was dreary and raining. But, the skies opened up on the day of the event and everything turned out wonderfully. Play was at the beautiful Crooked Creek Golf Club.

Of course, the day started with a heavy dose of fog.

Things still didn’t clear up as the players started to warm up.

Fog

I guess this is a case of turning lemons into lemonade. It was early Wednesday that I wanted to head over to Crooked Creek to take photos of the golf course during sunrise. These were to be my stock photos for the Traveler’s MS Celebrity Challenge that’s to occur later that day. To my disappointment, the morning started with a dense layer of fog. You can’t see half way down the fairway. So instead, I decided to just hunt around for some other photo opportunities as I waited for the fog to lift. Here’s one picture down a cart path of the third hole.
