This year featured professional tennis players Bob and Mike Bryan, Luke and Murphy Jensen, Sam Querrey, and James Blake.

The day started out with a press conference introducing the players.

Shortly after that the Kids Clinic was held where kids were able to high with the pros.

With James Blake on the other side…

Then came the Party with the Pros where guests are able to meet and talk to the Pros. Next was the Run ‘n Roll match. David Williams, Harlon Matthews, and the Jensen Brothers.

There was even a marriage proposal and yes, she accepted.

The Bryan Brothers showed an exciting and fun match against the Jensen Brothers.

There’s even a performance by American Idol Top-12 Finalist, Michael Johns. He played an entertaining short set.

The night ended with the match between James Blake and Sam Querrey.

Alex came from the ranks of AA ALTA tennis, Brian came from a rival men’s team that we played each season. Apparantly, that’s also how they first met, on the tennis court. So when they asked me to take some engagement pictures, we first hit the courts!

Then, we had to hit the fall landscapes. I love fall colors, and we couldn’t have picked a better weekend to take some fall pictures. Here’s a picture right from their own neighborhood.

After a quick lunch break, we drove up to Chota Falls. This is where they’re having their wedding. So, this gave me a chance to scope it all out. What a scenic location for a wedding.

Right about now, their butts are apparantly frozen from sitting on the rocks. Since these were long shutter shots, I had to ask them to sit there for quite a while.

It was quite an experience. Five matches in 3 days, Friday through Sunday. Then semifinals on Monday morning where our bid for State Champions stopped by a team that eventually won it. The annual tournament was held at at Georgia Tech. The tennis tournament hosts both singles and doubles play. View the pictures here.

Past tournaments have included such great players as Robby Ginepri, Scoville Jenkins, Brian Vahaly, Francisco Rodriguez, Bobby Reynolds, Ellis Ferreira, Travis Parrot, Doug Flach, Richy Reneberg, T.J. Middleton and Kenny Thorne. 

This year’s Singles winner was Jeff Salzenstein.
