The Choirs of St. Brigid
Sunday, August 27th, 2006 at 01:13 | 0 commentsCategories: EventsTags:I’ve heard so much about The Choirs of St. Brigid that when my friend, Julianne, asked me to come out and photographed them, I couldn’t pass on the opportunity. <Click Here> to see all the pictures. The choir was led by Rhett who’s an amazing musician. I’ve heard him play the harp at our company’s Christmas party.
And here’s my friend, Julianne.
It turns out that this particular Sunday’s mass was for the installation of Monsignor Paul Reynolds as their Pastor. The Knights of Columbus were there to celebrate the event.

Macro Shots
Saturday, August 12th, 2006 at 02:15 | 0 commentsCategories: MiscTags:Just purchased the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens. Wow, what a neat lens for macros. Unlike the “L” lens I’m used to using, the focusing mechanism on this lens is somewhat slow. And, in low light, it can’t focus like my other lens. But, wow, the macro opportunity this allows for is amazing. Here are some of the very first shots out of the camera!
