Pure Fashion Show 2008
Sunday, April 20th, 2008 at 00:49 | 1 commentCategories: EventsTags: Pure FashionToday was the 9th Annual Pure Fashion Show. This is the second year that I’ve had the privilege to photograph the fashion show under Ben Vigil Photography. I’ve posted about Pure Fashion before here and here, so I don’t want to be repetitive. This year, it was another great show.
Lindee Link opened the show with a wonderful performance.
And Carried Away performed a great set of Christian music.
–Through the help of Make-A-Wish Foundation, Heather Holtry was able to showcase her own design that will be auctioned off for charity after the show. Heather is battling chronic, disseminated, late-stage Lyme Disease and her wish is to have her design shown in a Pure Fashion Show. Below is Heather.
And here are two of her own designs of modest gowns.
–The Atlanta Ballet and Pure Fashion presented a special performance by premiere dancer Mary Kate McCarthy in honor of Heather.
And finally, the 2008 Pure Fashion Models.
––––––––Unfortunately, I can only show a small number of models. The entire show was amazing.

Pure Fashion Hair and Makeup Day
Sunday, January 13th, 2008 at 02:07 | 0 commentsTags: Pure FashionThis is the second year I’ve been asked to work with Ben Vigil for Pure Fashion. Today is their Hair and Makeup Day. Having done this same event last year, there were many young girls I recognize this year. Once again, the event was held at Siggers Hairdressers. Here’s just a few head shots taken of over 60 young girls.
Oh, how can I forget one last thing. I need to thank Jessen and Susannah for being my personal assistants that day. I couldn’t have done it without their help. Thanks!

Never having photographed a Bar Mitzvah before, when Ben asked me to help him with Alex’s Bar Mitzvah I jumped at the opportunity. I had no idea that this Bar Mitzvah would become such a memorable one.

100 Million Units Sold
Saturday, April 21st, 2007 at 01:05 | 0 commentsCategories: EventsTags: The Biltmore BallroomsSo the company I work for has just sold over a 100 Million Units. That’s quite an achievement that we’re all proud of. But this isn’t a story about work, it’s about getting an excuse to party.
So, where did we go after our 100 Million Party at the great Biltmore? The Gordon Biersch.
Â
Â
It’s within walking distance of the Biltmore with a great atmosphere and a set of pool tables. Naturally, we all felt like we were good at playing eight-ball.
Â
Â
Well, maybe after some drinks first.
Â
Â
After that, we were all natural pool sharks.
