Traveler’s 2nd Annual 2007 MS Celebrity Challenge
Tuesday, October 16th, 2007 at 23:13 | 1 commentCategories: GolfOnce again, I’m happy to be part of Traveler’s 2nd Annual Celebrity Challenge to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. (The 1st Annual Event is here). This year, the Challenge raised $83,000.
(Click here) to see all the photos of the event. I want to thank my friend Bob Caesar for coming out and assisting in covering the event.
Since this is my second year photographing the event, I think the players have definitely become less camera shy. Just look at how they’re at ease with the photographers.
..And how about this trick, stacking golf balls then hitting one while catching the other.
And let’s not forget the challenge do give prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
.......And look at this, ALMOST qualified for that Tiger-Nike shot!
Let’s not forget that this is a fund raiser. There’s the silent auction.
And Jack Llewellyn once again sharing his experience with MS.
And a final let’s not forget the volunteers.

Homecoming
Sunday, October 14th, 2007 at 01:48 | 0 commentsCategories: PortraitTags:We’ve known Katie for almost 10 years now. She’s one of the nicest girls out there. Today, she’s on her way to her school’s homecoming dance. I just realized that over the 10 years, I’ve never taken a picture of her. So, this is one of the first photographs I’ve taken of her.

And here’s her friend, Molly
And here’s Katie with my assistant-in-training, Austin

Atlanta Harp Center
Friday, October 12th, 2007 at 00:30 | 0 commentsCategories: PortraitTags:I first saw Rhett when he was performing at our company’s holiday party. He was playing the harp so beautifully. The following year, he conducted our own Broadcom Band at our own holiday party. Now he’s running the Atlanta Harp Center in Alpharetta. He’s given me the opportunity to take some photos of the beautiful harps they’re selling. I don’t know much about what makes a great harp. But I must say that the following harps are just gorgeous.
Oh, I forgot to mention that these were photographed at Atlanta’s own Piedmont Park.
The following pictures were taken at the gazebo.
A closer look at these beautiful harps
And here’s Rhett himself.

Las Vegas
Wednesday, October 10th, 2007 at 01:00 | 1 commentTags: Las VegasAs part of a trip to play in the USTA 3.5 National Championship, I was able to also take a quick tour of Las Vegas. This isn’t the first time I’ve photographed Las Vegas. But this is the first time I’ve been to some of the following places.
View all the pictures by clicking here. The first part of the day trip started with a quick run to the Hoover Dam.
Then, down Las Vegas Blvd to the Stratosphere.
One of the neat thing about this visit is that we were able to arrive at the top of the Stratosphere Hotel just before sunset. Here’s a view from atop the Stratosphere minutes before sunset.
One of the craziest rides I can imagine is the X-Scream atop the Stratosphere. Imagine a ride hanging over the edge of the top of the Stratoshpere.
Here’s another view of the sunset atop the Stratosphere
After a quick dinner delivery, we visited Fremont Street.
The next day, we took a quick walk around the Bellagio Casino. Here’s the Paris Casino from the Bellagio.
And returning back to the Bellagio, the sunset view of Paris.
