Thanksgiving Golf
Saturday, November 25th, 2006 at 02:49 | 0 commentsCategories: GolfTags: OrlandoApparantly golf is really growing within the family. It’s almost to an addiction. So when someone hears about family reunion, it’s time to plan for a golf match. Of course, it’s also a good time for the boys to come out and drive the golf carts for the men. However, Noah will have nothing about driving a cart, he’s more interested in driving the golf ball 100 yards.
Austin doesn’t really drive a ball that long, but at least he did dual duty and drove one of the carts.

Sky Adventures
Thursday, November 23rd, 2006 at 02:03 | 0 commentsCategories: SportsTags: OrlandoDuring the down time in Orlando, we headed out to Sky Adventures. This is where you get in a wind tunnel and the air pushes on you so that you float like you’re free falling. The kids wanted to do this, so obviously some of us adult had to hitch in the fun.
Here they are learning the proper position. I won’t post the pathetic position Don had :).
Now, they gear up. Everyone had ear plugs, goggles, helmets, and a jump suit. The kids look so cool in jump suits.
The entire gang!

And here is Amber’s first attempt. They pretty much let everyone get their bearings in the first attempt.
And Holly…
And this is Austin in his 2nd attempt. At the end of the 2nd attempt, they ride tandem with you and they spin you at high speeds up and down the wind tunnel. Everyone loved it.

Fall in Atlanta
Saturday, November 11th, 2006 at 02:38 | 2 commentsCategories: PortraitTags:It’s fall in Atlanta and that means fall colors. Growing up in Orlando, we’re only used to two seasons, Summer and Summer. Fortunately, we get all four seasons in Atlanta, and Fall has to be the most colorful. It’s already November so the peak colors have past. So, we ran to a friend’s house where the trees were still knockouts.
Here are a few of the kids.
The kids and Grandma. The leaves are falling!! No, it’s just them throwing leaves in the air.
These two crack me up. Look at Amber playing to the camera!

Fusion U-6 Coed
Saturday, November 11th, 2006 at 01:14 | 0 commentsCategories: SoccerTags:My daughter’s team played these Ninja’s this past Saturday. These boys and girls were strong! They basically scored at will until we had to bring in our super secret weapon to slow them down. To show you how well trained they are, during quarter breaks, they didn’t even take a breather. They were on the field practicing and staying warm and pumped. What a team!!

Brian and Alexandra
Sunday, November 5th, 2006 at 02:06 | 0 commentsTags:I first met both Alex and Brian on the tennis court. Alex came from the ranks of AA ALTA tennis, Brian came from a rival men’s team that we played each season. Apparantly, that’s also how they first met, on the tennis court. So when they asked me to take some engagement pictures, we first hit the courts!

Then, we had to hit the fall landscapes. I love fall colors, and we couldn’t have picked a better weekend to take some fall pictures. Here’s a picture right from their own neighborhood.
After a quick lunch break, we drove up to Chota Falls. This is where they’re having their wedding. So, this gave me a chance to scope it all out. What a scenic location for a wedding.
Right about now, their butts are apparantly frozen from sitting on the rocks. Since these were long shutter shots, I had to ask them to sit there for quite a while.
