Katie and Nic
Saturday, September 9th, 2006 at 02:06 | 0 commentsCategories: WeddingsAnother great wedding today. These two, Katie and Nic, sure knows how to party. The wedding started out at her parents home where all the preparations were done.

Then, we all headed over to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Sacred Heart has a special place in my heart since it was the church I attended mass during my studies at Georgia Tech.

One final stop over to The Trolley Barn for the reception.

Panthers Soccer
Saturday, September 9th, 2006 at 01:10 | 1 commentCategories: SoccerTags:It’s our first game of the season. Up till now, we’ve had a few practice and being a novice in soccer, I didn’t know what to expect. Well, I got to tell you, these kids are pretty darn good. Not just our kids, but the kids on the opposing team. Interesting to see the talent already developing at U10 soccer. See more of the pictures by <clicking here>.

Soccer!
Friday, September 8th, 2006 at 01:19 | 4 commentsTags:OK, it’s soccer time. This is their very first season playing team soccer. So, they don’t really kick the ball like David Beckham. But, that’s not really what’s important to Mom. She just wants them to look cute.

The Choirs of St. Brigid
Sunday, August 27th, 2006 at 01:13 | 0 commentsCategories: EventsTags:I’ve heard so much about The Choirs of St. Brigid that when my friend, Julianne, asked me to come out and photographed them, I couldn’t pass on the opportunity. <Click Here> to see all the pictures. The choir was led by Rhett who’s an amazing musician. I’ve heard him play the harp at our company’s Christmas party.

And here’s my friend, Julianne.

It turns out that this particular Sunday’s mass was for the installation of Monsignor Paul Reynolds as their Pastor. The Knights of Columbus were there to celebrate the event.

And here is the Choirs of St. Brigid.

Macro Shots
Saturday, August 12th, 2006 at 02:15 | 0 commentsCategories: MiscTags:Just purchased the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens. Wow, what a neat lens for macros. Unlike the “L” lens I’m used to using, the focusing mechanism on this lens is somewhat slow. And, in low light, it can’t focus like my other lens. But, wow, the macro opportunity this allows for is amazing. Here are some of the very first shots out of the camera!
