The Howe’s

I’ve photographed him playing teeball in the past. This face is sure to melt some girls’ faces.
She started out a little shy for me but she’s really such a sweet girl.
It was fun to run him down for pictures. I just had to catch him when he gave me a glance.

Pure Fashion Hair and Makeup Day
Sunday, January 14th, 2007 at 09:31 | 0 commentsTags: Pure FashionIt’s Hair and Makeup Day for the Pure Fashion girls. My good friend Ben Vigil introduced me to Pure Fashion last October when he asked me to cover their opening registration day. At that day, I found out what a wonderful organization Pure Fashion was. Please visit their site for more information about the organization. Today is their hair and makeup day where I got a chance to come in and take head shots for the fashion show in a few months. The event was held at Siggers Hairdressers.
Here’s Amy Siggers herself doing hair for one of the girls. Siggers hairdresser was filled with 82 girsl getting hair and makeup done through out the day.
Once they were done with hair and makeup, the girls headed upstairs where Stanley Leary and I took head shots. Here’s a quick sample of all the beautiful girls there that day.
Over 1400 headshots later, we packed up for the day.
Let me just add one more thing. Not only were these girls patient waiting in long lines for their head shots, they were extreme nice and very considerate. While packing up my equipment, I found a number of ‘thank you’ cards written for me. They were thank you cards from these girls thanking me for taking pictures for them. All I have to say is, their parents must have raised them really well. And I’m sure Pure Fashion had something to do with it too.

Sara
Saturday, December 9th, 2006 at 02:02 | 0 commentsCategories: PortraitTags:It was about 25 degrees outside this morning as I arrived to meet Sara. At 8:30am on a Saturday, she was already perky. I’m not quite sure how old she is, but she was a treat to work with, always ready with a smile and followed any instructions. I couldn’t have asked for a better model. Here are just some quick picks from the session this morning. (*** click here *** to see all the pictures of the session)

Fall in Atlanta
Saturday, November 11th, 2006 at 02:38 | 2 commentsCategories: PortraitTags:It’s fall in Atlanta and that means fall colors. Growing up in Orlando, we’re only used to two seasons, Summer and Summer. Fortunately, we get all four seasons in Atlanta, and Fall has to be the most colorful. It’s already November so the peak colors have past. So, we ran to a friend’s house where the trees were still knockouts.
Here are a few of the kids.
The kids and Grandma. The leaves are falling!! No, it’s just them throwing leaves in the air.
These two crack me up. Look at Amber playing to the camera!

Brian and Alexandra
Sunday, November 5th, 2006 at 02:06 | 0 commentsTags:I first met both Alex and Brian on the tennis court. Alex came from the ranks of AA ALTA tennis, Brian came from a rival men’s team that we played each season. Apparantly, that’s also how they first met, on the tennis court. So when they asked me to take some engagement pictures, we first hit the courts!

Then, we had to hit the fall landscapes. I love fall colors, and we couldn’t have picked a better weekend to take some fall pictures. Here’s a picture right from their own neighborhood.
After a quick lunch break, we drove up to Chota Falls. This is where they’re having their wedding. So, this gave me a chance to scope it all out. What a scenic location for a wedding.
Right about now, their butts are apparantly frozen from sitting on the rocks. Since these were long shutter shots, I had to ask them to sit there for quite a while.

Soccer!
Friday, September 8th, 2006 at 01:19 | 4 commentsTags:OK, it’s soccer time. This is their very first season playing team soccer. So, they don’t really kick the ball like David Beckham. But, that’s not really what’s important to Mom. She just wants them to look cute.
