Over the weekend, my friend and long time co-worker invited a few of us to his home on Lake Lanier. We were treated with so much food, desert, and a good time. Even with the threat of thunderstorms nearby, we ventured off on his pontoon boat. Outrunning the dark clouds, we toured the lake seeing beautiful homes and even the Buford Dam (from the water of course). After a while, we went tubing. The kids had a blast and still talks about it today. Here are just a few photos.

Sometimes you can’t really tell if they’re in pain, or just having fun.

It has to be fun since they’re smiling during a wipe out.

Even the adults got in on the fun.

This summer, we met with family again to attend Jeremy’s high school graduation. We also got a chance to go to the beach for a few days so everyone can get nicely tanned before the photo session.

Here is Jeremy wearing his graduation rob with all his honors and diploma.

And one final portrait before he heads off to college.

Of course, I snuck in some portraits of the other kids while I was at it.

    All the kids

    … now having fun

Finally, the moms did their “thing”

I met Ana Maria and her parents through Lillian’s parents. Ana Maria was really quiet during our session. Turns out, she’s just tired as she fell asleep about half way through. Here are a few shots of Ana Maria.

I think my kids are well aware that if they are going to get dressed up, their dad will bring out the camera. This time, Austin is attending his 8th Grade Dance. Soon, he’ll say good bye to his middle school and head into high school. But before all that, here’s a few snapshots before the dance.

His sisters are so happy he’s all dressed up.

Later on that evening, our neighbor, Samantha, stopped by to detail how she danced the night away. She became another victim by being all dressed up.

I got a chance to sneak in a few photos of Joiya for her First Communion on Mother’s Day weekend. She’s always a great subject to photograph. Here’s a select few of the photos.

We’re back again as Lillian just turned 6 months old. Still very attentive of her surroundings. Here she is in her Easter outfit.

Lillian is probably the most attentive 3 month old I know. She would observe my every move with her fully opened eyes. Here’s a few highlights from my short time with her.

I first heard about Kelsey when I was looking around for a saxophone teacher for my son. It turns out she studied baritone under an amazing teacher. Back then, she was in high school. Nowadays, she’s studying opera at UGA. Here are a few headshots of Kelsey.

It’s not very often that the kids actually dress up for anything. But it was necessary for the piano recital. So, I took this opportunity to take a few snapshots of them.

My youngest is currently not camera shy…

While the two olders ones have become tired of Dad’s antics. Nevertheless, I was able to snap a few.

This is my third time photographing Annika and I think she’s finally warmed up to me. No, she’s still shy and quiet as can be. But her beautiful smile flows much more freely this time around.
